'Snakes Holiday Camp a Success
Monday, January 01, 2007
The St. Joe Blacksnakes' First Annual Holiday Youth Baseball Camp is officially a success. Over 100 children between the ages of 6 and 16 attended the free instructional camps on December 22nd and 23rd.
The camps, which were held at Hardball, offered kids instruction in the areas of pitching, hitting, and fielding. Each child also recieved a goodie bag and t-shirt free of charge, and were invited to attend a complimentary barbeque after the clinic.
The Blacksnakes would like to thank all of our community partners for making these camps possible. These camps would not have been possible without the help of organizations such as Hardball, Heartland Health, Wal-Mart, McDonald’s, Performance Plus Rehabilitation Center, Shelter Insurance, Auto Glass, Stevenson’s Family Pharmacy, Rent All, The Diamond Club, Ken Smith Autobody, The Dillon Company, Dr. Patricia Boyce, Ag Processing, Mary Scott, and Don Evans Realty.
The Blacksnakes would like to thank all of our sponsors, and everyone who attended the camps for making this event a success. Remember to check our website for more camp dates as they become available.
