Blacksnakes Owner Appointed Director of Group Sales

St. Joseph- Wayne Schultz, part owner of the Blacksnakes, has recently been appointed Director of Group Sales for the upcoming 2007 season. The Iowa native, who now resides in Salem, Wisonsin, has recently relocated to St. Joseph. "St. Joseph is a great community, with a lot of history. My hope is to add to that history in a positive way," stated the forty-seven year old father of three. The Snakes new Director of Group Sales went on to say, "My goal this summer is to extend an invitation to every person in St. Joe to come to at least one game in a group setting."
Wayne began his career in the business sector in 1986 with Andover Securities. After wrapping up a very successful career as a trader, he opened his own business in the Apple Industry. Recently, Wayne invested in the Ventura Sports Group, whom owns the Blacksnakes along with several other minor league teams. Former Field Manager and Director of Baseball Operations, Chris Carminucci stated, "Wayne will be a wonderful addition to the Blacksnakes Front Office Staff. His myriad of experiences in the business world will serve as an absolute asset, and should prove to serve as a difference maker in the success of the Blacksnakes."
Wayne makes his permanent home in Salem, Wisconsin with his wife Meg and three children. Emily, Abby and Jimmy.
