Snakes get first victory of season

St. Joe brought their bats to the park tonight as the Blacksnakes earn their first win of the season by beating St. Paul. Every Blacksnakes player got at least one hit in the game while eight of the nine hitters plated at least a run. 1B Dustin Yount went 2-for-3 with a run scored and three runs batted in. CF David Fowler ,batting leadoff, scored two runs and knocked in two as well. St. Joe starting pitcher Alec Sheppard was very impressive on the mound tonight as he allowed only one earned run on five hits with six strikeouts. Also in relief Vincent DeChristafaro pitched two solid innings striking out two Saint batters.
