Snakes get important win
Saturday, May 26, 2007
St. Joe won Friday night with great pitching and clutch hits. Starter David Glick changed his number and his luck. Glick who previously wore number twenty-two changed to number twenty and went seven strong innings allowing seven hits and only two runs. Trailing by two entering the seventh inning, St. Joe scored two to tie on the bats of Jacob Wallis and Chad Sosebee. Then Vincent DeChristifaro and Tim Vasquez combined for three innings of shutout relief before Andy Wilson became the hero. Andy lined a two out pitch over third baseman Daubert's head to score Casey Gordon with the winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning.
